LLB Holiday Mixer

While it was a blustery and rainy night, Leadership Long Beach alumni, family and friends came together for a very heartwarming gathering at the home of Councilmember Tonia Reyes Uranga (LLB Class of 1990) and Long Beach City College Trustee Roberto Uranga. This was the 2nd year that the LLB Alumni Council made use of the Daisy Lane Parade - 2009 was its 56th Annual Parade - as a focal point to have alumni get together for a friendly holiday gathering.

The rain and the cold weather may have kept the attendance small, but there was great enthusiasm among everyone who made the pre-and post-parade activities. There was plenty of food and tasty beverages to keep everyone warm, and the smiles helped brightened the day. Also, there were plenty of alumni who were in the parade, showcasing to the community our alumni who are leaders.

Thanks to Urangas for opening their home to us once again for this festive event. Thanks to Jeff Williams (Class of 2008) and Cecile Harris Walters (Class of 2000) for organizing the event this year.
