With more than 75 people in attendance at the Rock Bottom Brewery and Restaurant on Monday, the Leadership Connections event had the enthusiasm and spirit of the current class and alumni talking about the importance of Leadership Long Beach.

Following their class day at City Hall, Institute Class of 2017 members, Marco Cabibbo of P2S Engineering and Teresa Chandler of City of Long Beach, Health Department, each spoke from their perspectives on the value that the Leadership Long Beach experience has provided both professionally and personally, toward their growth and understanding of Long Beach since beginning the program in August.  In addition, Interim Assistant City Manager Anitra Dempsey (LLBI ’01) informed the audience of the many ways she has served and continue to support the LLB and its vast network of alumni.
