28 Aug 2017 Amazing Race
With the sponsorship of Long Beach Yellow Cab, the LLBI Class of 2018 began first experience of Leadership Long Beach with the ‘Amazing Race 2017.’ The August 28 morning session was an exploration/road race to locate landmarks, businesses and interesting sites around the city. With the help of LLB alumni chaperones and the safe and expert driving skills of Yellow Cab drivers, the class members explored and learned about the diverse neighborhoods, economies and interests that make up Long Beach, which will benefit them in upcoming months of their principled leadership program.
