Over 80 people were in attendance to hear Mayor Garcia speak about the city’s role in making the case for Long Beach to host Olympic competitions with current facilities.   As part of the presentation, he spoke about new structures (hotel, beach concession areas) and upgrades (Blue Line, pier) for the Long Beach Sports Park.

Thanks to the  Long Beach Petroleum Club (key staff members Angela Roman and Anabel Perez) for providing the room, appetizers and staffing service for the event.  Special thanks to LLB board members Nima Novin (LLBI ’17) and Connor Lock (LLBI ’18) coordinating this event with the Mayor’s office.
