2022 MLK Day of Service – hygiene kit

2022 MLK Day of Service

Hygiene Kits

Finding ways to serve our community, despite these unique times

Join us to make it a “Day On, not a Day Off,” on Saturday, April 23rd  as part of the MLK National Day of Service in Long Beach.

The Need We Serve:

LBPD’s Quality of Life Team needs 200 Hygiene Kits for our unhoused community members. Officers distribute these kids as a warm introduction to build a bridge between the community members and available services.

How to Serve:

With a team of volunteers, we plan to assemble 200 hygiene kits for LBPD’s Quality of Life Team! Each kit will have a snack, water, a resource guide, and other small essentials.
