Finding ways to serve our community, despite these unique times

Join us to make it a “Day On, not a Day Off,” on Saturday, April 23rd  as part of the MLK National Day of Service in Long Beach.

The Need We Serve:

YMCA provides services to many across our community. The purpose of this project is to replant and rehab gardens at both YMCA preschools.

We hope to breathe some life into these two spaces so that preschoolers can reconnect with the beauty of nature.

How to Serve:

With a team of volunteers, we plan to restore planter boxes that fell into disrepair. The two gardens will need weeding, re-planting, and re-mulching. Come help support these two vital community spaces.
