2023 MLK Day of Service
Go Long Beach App Helpers
Calling all cell-phone savvy volunteers to help Westside residents know about the Go Long Beach app so they can be empowered to report blight around them.
Join us to make it a “Day On, not a Day Off,” on Monday, January 16th as part of the MLK National Day of Service in Long Beach.
The Need We Serve: The Westside residents have used the Go Long Beach app less than most other parts of Long Beach. Much of this is due to a lack of education of how to use it. You will be helping the residents of Westside to find out about the app, download the app on their phones and learn how to enter something on it.
How to Serve:
We need volunteers to go door to door in the neighborhood and introduce the
Go Long Beach app to the residents.
