2023 MLK Day of Service – Hygiene Supply Drive

2023 MLK Day of Service

Hygiene Supply Drive

#LLBSERVES  #MLKDAY

Help your neighbors experiencing housing insecurity by donating personal items & packing Kindness Kits to be distributed during the 2023 Long Beach Homeless Count.  All ages can help with this project!

Join us to make it a “Day On, not a Day Off,” on Monday, January 16th as part of the MLK National Day of Service in Long Beach.

The Need We Serve:

By providing the gift of Kindness Kits (toothbrush, toothpaste, chapstick, hand sanitizer, etc.) our neighbors experiencing homelessness are more willing to engage and share their needs during the homeless count.  With a better understanding of how to help, our community can end homelessness.

How to Serve:

Please donate the following items on MLK Day and help us pack Kindness Kits, write notes of gratitude to front line workers and color art to include in the Kits.  DONATE: new socks, individually wrapped soft protein bars, toothbrushes, travel sized toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, kleenex packets, chapstick, feminine products) .
